How I used to pack my weekly spreads full of stickers vs. now just using black pen
Back in 2021 I was all about the decoration. I'd spend an hour picking out washi tape and stickers for each week. Then I had a baby 8 months ago and I literally only have 5 minutes to set up my pages now. It's just black pen and straight lines. Anyone else find their style totally shifted after a big life change?

I really felt that line about "only have 5 minutes to set up my pages now." My best friend went through the same thing after she had twins. She used to have this whole scrapbook style with stickers and layered washi tape everywhere. Then the babies came and she switched to a basic grid with a black pen. She told me it actually helped her focus more on what she actually needed to get done instead of making it look pretty. Now she just draws a few straight lines and writes appointments down and calls it done. It took her months to stop feeling guilty about not decorating though.

Did you ever catch yourself staring at a blank page feeling guilty for not busting out the full sticker collection? I went through the same shift but for dumber reasons - I just got lazy lol. I went from full on scrapbook mode with coordinating colors and themes to literally just using a black Bic pen and maybe a ruler if I'm feeling fancy. Now my weekly spread looks like a hostage note compared to the art projects I used to make. It took me forever to stop feeling bad about my ugly pages but honestly I'm way more productive now. Sometimes I think my old sticker covered spreads were just me procrastinating from actually writing stuff down.
