Mood trackers in my bullet journal made my anxiety worse, not better.
I see everyone praising daily mood logs, but for me, it just highlighted every bad day. Now I only note big shifts, and my mental health has improved.

Yeah, my friend had the exact same thing happen with her mood tracker. She said checking in every day just made her fixate on the low points. She switched to just writing a word for the overall week and it was a game changer.

Consider how daily tracking captures mood shifts as they happen. You see real patterns instead of relying on a hazy weekly summary. @evan489, that might seem like overthinking, but for many it's honest progress.

Totally get what Evan's friend means with the weekly word. I did the exact same switch from daily colors to just a weekly note and it stopped that constant low grade stress of having to judge every single day.
