Started a monthly habit tracker in my bujo, then forgot to fill it in for 3 weeks straight.
I was sitting at my kitchen table in Denver last month staring at 21 empty squares thinking what's the point of this thing, so I ditched the tracker and just use a simple dot system on my daily log instead, anyone else given up on habit trackers?

Did you ditch the tracker completely or just simplify it to one simple mark per day?

Turning the monthly spread into a list of daily chores kind of killed the joy of it for me. I just scratch a little dot on the day if I ran three miles or actually remembered to floss. The blank squares started feeling like a report card and not a helpful tool.

I swapped to a single vertical line for workouts and a circle for good sleep about six months ago. The empty spaces stopped bugging me when I stopped treating them like failures and just saw them as neutral days. The trick was keeping it simple enough that I could fill it in while brushing my teeth. Honestly, the cleaner the tracker, the less I actually used it.
