I finally got the miter joints on this walnut entertainment center to close after 3 hours of fiddling with the saw fence.
Has anyone else had a project where the setup took way longer than the actual build, or is it just me being a perfectionist?

My last picture frame took me two hours just to set up the jig for the splines. Cutting and gluing the splines themselves was maybe ten minutes of work. What's the worst setup you've ever dealt with?

Spent an entire Saturday dialing in my router table for some edge profiles on a maple table. The actual routing took maybe twenty minutes. It's all in that setup, man. Getting that bearing and bit height just perfect felt like a victory. Totally worth the headache for that clean finish.
