Shoutout to that guy who told me my drawer slides were mounted backwards
Been doing this for 8 years and never once checked myself on undermount slides until last month. A customer who used to build commercial cabinets came by my shop in Portland and pointed out my front bracket was flipped. I argued with him for 10 minutes until he pulled out his phone and showed me a video from the Blum website. Felt like a total idiot but I fixed all 12 drawers on that job before delivery. Anyone else have a customer who knew more than they let on?

It's funny how life keeps throwing those humble pie moments at you, no matter how long you've been at something. @wells.christopher I think it's just part of the pattern - you get comfortable in your routine and forget that someone out there has already figured out the thing you're doing wrong.
