Rant: That whole week in June where every termination went wrong

I had a streak last June in Columbus where I blew through 12 terminations in 3 days and every single one had to be redone. One customer's cat literally unplugged the coax while I was testing signal strength on the other end. Then a new guy on my crew used the wrong compression fitting on a RG6 run and I had to drive 40 minutes back to fix it myself. Anybody else have a week where the universe just decided you weren't finishing on time?

Cat probably thought it was helping, or just wanted to watch the world burn. At least it didn't chew through the line while you were looking.

That cat unplugging the coax is a new level of sabotage I haven't seen before, but I bet your customer thought it was adorable.

Jump right into that pattern where little everyday things (like cats or loose fittings) gang up on you all at once, feels like the universe runs on Murphy's Law some weeks.

Gotta wonder how much of that is just our brains noticing the bad stuff more during those weeks, though... like, the loose fitting and the cat and whatever else were probably always there, but something about that first thing going wrong just tunes us into looking for the next one. Do you think it's more that the world actually lines up against you, or more that your brain just goes on high alert for problems after the first one hits?
