That foreclosure job made me stop trusting the blueprints
Talked to a builder in Tulsa last week who said 40% of the prints he sees are off by at least a foot, and after I ran into a wall stud 6 inches from where the plan said, I'm starting to think he's right, so how do you guys handle rough-in when the blueprint doesn't match the walls?

Wait, is that 40% number for all trades or just framing? Cause I feel like plumbers and electricians have way different gripes with prints than us carpenters do. You gotta remember as-builts are a best guess, not gospel, and the wall you're hitting might be the one that got moved for a beam or something.
