Our local theater's antique film camera is back in action

The small playhouse down the street was struggling with their old 16mm film camera. It kept eating film during their weekend showings. I spent an afternoon looking at the feed mechanism and noticed a bent sprocket. Straightened it out with some careful tool work and cleaned the gate. Now it runs without skipping frames, and the manager was thrilled. Helping keep local history alive feels really good. Sometimes the best fixes are right in your own backyard.

Actually it's the sprocket wheel, not a sprocket.

Manual check worked for me last time my chain slipped, good call from @carter.john on the right part name.

Why not just call it a sprocket?

I mean carter's technically right but everyone I know just calls it a sprocket. Gets the point across either way.
