Wasted $85 on a 'repair kit' from a big box store and it had four useful parts
Needed to fix a sticky aperture on an old 50mm so I grabbed one of those pre-packed camera repair kits at a store in Boise last month. Eighty five bucks later I open it up and it's mostly low grade screwdrivers that strip heads and a blower brush I already own three of. The only things worth keeping were a spanner wrench and a small set of JIS tips, everything else went in a drawer. Ended up ordering the two tools I actually needed for $22 online and the repair took twenty minutes. Anyone got a go-to source for single tools instead of these bundled kits?
