My inflatable pad sprung a leak at 2 AM in the Smokies

Last month I was camped near Cades Cove and woke up flat on the ground with my hip bone digging into the dirt. The patch kit that came with the pad was useless, the glue had dried out. I ended up wrapping the hole with duct tape and using my jacket as extra padding for the last two nights. It held okay, but now I'm shopping for a more reliable repair kit. Has anyone found a patch kit that actually works on cold nights?
