That $12 trekking pole I laughed at in the store has survived 40 miles of rocky trails
Bought a cheap pair at a discount bin in Boise last spring mostly to make fun of them on a trip. Just got back from 40 miles in the Sawtooths and the carbon ones my buddy paid $180 for snapped on day 2 while mine are still straight. Anyone else have cheap gear that just refuses to die on them?
