Oh, that reminds me of a column I read. It said we judge people by their worst public moments but their real character shows in private, repeated acts. That quiet consistency is what actually counts.

Actions really do speak louder. That quiet, long-term stuff is what matters. Saw a guy from a band I hated always picking up trash in the park before his jog. Never posted about it. Hard to call someone fake when they do the work with no cameras around.

Totally get that. Saw a local politician quietly paying off lunch debts at my old high school for a whole year. Changed my mind about him too.
