Found out my old company posted salaries on job ads and it made me sick
I was poking around on Indeed in Charlotte for fun 2 weeks ago and saw my old job listed at $74,000, which is about $19k more than what they were paying me when I quit in 2023. I dug through a few more postings from that same company and sure enough, they put the pay range right in the ad now because of that NC law that kicked in. Do you all check your old employer's job posts to see what they're paying now, or is that just a weird thing I do lol?
Oh man, my friend did the exact same thing and found her old job listed at like 15k more than she made. She was so mad she had to go for a walk, ha. It's not weird at all, I'd say it's pretty normal to peek.
