A finish carpenter in Tulsa told me my scribe cuts looked like beaver chews, so I switched my coping method
I was fitting some crown molding in a 1920s bungalow and a finish guy named Ray looked at my inside corners and said they looked like beaver chews. So I stopped using a coping saw freehand and started cutting the cope at a back bevel with a grinder and a flap disk, then fine tuning with a file. What method do you all use for coped joints that need to look tight with no caulk?
