Update: My carpet art idea fell apart on the floor

I got this bright idea to cut a wave pattern into some leftover carpet for my workshop. Thought it would be a fun side project to break up the monotony. I sketched it out freehand and started cutting with my regular knife. The curves ended up all wobbly and the pieces won't lay flat together. Now I've got a bunch of weird shaped scraps that are useless. It's frustrating because it looked so easy in my head. Guess I'll leave the fancy stuff to the artists with better tools.

Seriously, I tried baking sourdough last year. Looked so simple on Instagram but was a total mess. Ended up with a brick instead of bread.
