Was dead set against stretch-in tools for residential until a 900 square foot job in Phoenix changed my mind

Tried a power stretcher for the first time on that huge living room and the seams came out so clean I barely had to trim, has anyone else switched after swearing by knee kickers?

Man that Phoenix heat alone is enough to make you rethink everything. Hit a 1200 square foot ranch last summer in Tucson and the power stretcher saved my back big time, seams laid like butter compared to fighting with a knee kicker on that slab. Never going back to just the manual way after seeing how much cleaner the stretch looks even on commercial grade carpet.

Power stretcher worth it for residential or just commercial jobs?

Wait 1200 square feet in Tucson in the summer with a knee kicker? That sounds like actual torture. I'm from Phoenix and I know how brutal that slab gets, you must have felt like you were dying halfway through that job. I can't believe you didn't make the switch sooner after that, my knees hurt just thinking about it. The seams coming out that clean on commercial carpet too, that's what really gets me because those loops can be so finicky.
