I saw that actor's video where he looked sorry but didn't say what he did wrong. It's just like when I painted my fence without fixing the rust. Both are all show and no substance.

That's not quite the same though. Painting over rust at least stops it from spreading for a bit. A bad apology doesn't fix anything at all.

The rust chewed right through the new paint in just a few weeks. It doesn't fix anything, it just puts a pretty coat over a growing problem.
