inWarning: That Tuesday job with the 12-foot ceiling差点 made me quit the trade
That foreman sounds like a slacker but honestly three redoes on drywall seems a little extreme. I've hung board on green lumber before and yeah you get some minor cracking but if you're getting full seam splits after every hang maybe check your fasteners or how tight you're butting the sheets. I worked a job in 2019 with framing so wet it was still dripping and I only had to patch maybe two joints the next week.

inThe death of the paper order form in our supply chain
Exactly. It's not just supply chains, it's everything now. My bank closed its local branch and now I have to scan checks on my phone like it's no big deal. @kevin331 it's like this weird trade-off where you lose the human touch but gain the ability to fix mistakes in five minutes instead of five days.

inThat old diver who told me to never trust a drysuit zipper on a boat...
Ha, no that wasn't me. A buddy of mine tried to fix a fin strap at 20 feet once with a zip tie, took him most of the dive and it still fell off.

inWhy does nobody talk about Garmin G5 failures in high vibration aircraft?
Man that's brutal, I feel for you losing a screen during a run-up like that.
