Appreciation post: my cousin in Nashville called out that 'sources say' blind item we both shared, and she was right
She pointed out the site that posted it has never named a single real source in 3 years, just vague 'insiders,' and it still got 2 million shares. Now I check who's actually quoted before I pass anything along, does anyone else have a go-to way to spot these fake insider posts?

Man this stuff is everywhere now, not just blind items. My aunt sends me screenshots all day from some page called like "Daily Truth Patrol" and every single post says "a source close to the family confirms" with zero name attached. I started asking her who the source is and she gets mad at me lol. The thing is it works because people want to believe the juicy stuff, so they skip right past the part where nobody is actually quoted. If a post can't tell you who said it or where they got it, that's the whole tell right there.
