The blind item that messed up my celeb news feed for a week
I used to eat those blind items up, you know, the ones that hint at a star without naming them. Last Tuesday I spent an hour on a forum thread trying to figure out if a certain British pop star was the one with the secret baby. Turned out the next day the actual celebrity came out and said it was her, and I felt kinda dumb because I had been pushing this whole other theory. What convinced me to stop trusting those riddles was when I saw a gossip blogger admit they wrote one that was totally made up just to get clicks. After that, I only check the stuff with direct sources or a name attached. Has anyone else gotten burned by a blind item that turned out to be nothing?

The blogger admitting they faked one for clicks is the real kicker, cause that pretty much proves half these riddles are just bait for engagement. After that it’s like, why waste brainpower on a puzzle the “source” might have invented on a coffee break.
