My uncle bet me $50 that a 'scientists discover alien life' clickbait was real, and I won because of one line
Back in March my uncle sent me a headline from some sketchy site screaming 'NASA Confirms Alien Life Found on Mars' with a thumbnail of a green hand shaking a human one. I read the article and the only source was a 2014 blog post from a guy named Dave who worked at a Planet Fitness in Tampa. So here's my question for you all: if a headline is technically true but the only source is a random guy's gym blog, does that count as a lie or just the laziest truth ever?
