Rant: That video titled "turning $50 into $5,000 in 24 hours" left out the part where he already had 80k followers

Last month I clicked on one of those money challenge thumbnails with the red circle and arrow, and the guy literally sold presets in the first 30 seconds of the follow-up video. He never mentioned the 3 years of fanbase building in the headline, just the flashy number. Has anyone else caught a viral video doing the same bait and switch?
