The 'shocking secret' video that actually taught me how to spot fake fishing photos

I kept getting burned by fishing pages posting 'monster catch' pics that looked too clean. Then I saw a video titled '3 ways to tell if a fish photo is fake' and expected the usual nonsense. Turns out, the guy showed how the stringer line behaves in water and how shadows don't match the fish's position. I tested it on three viral pics from last month, and all three were clearly staged. One had the fish hovering an inch above the water line with a perfect reflection. So now I'm wondering, are these creators accidentally being helpful or is it just luck when a clickbait title delivers? Has anyone else found a video that did the opposite of what the thumbnail promised but in a good way?

Just scroll past the fake ones and go fish, way easier.

Funny thing is, the fake ones are usually the ones that get the most engagement first, so the algorithm pushes them even harder. Then the real posts get buried and people miss them, which just makes more people post junk to get seen.
