Took the scraped insert trick to a 40-hour cycle and it held fine

Everyone says replace inserts at the first sign of wear, but I ran a scraped CNMG on a 316 stainless job for a full 40-hour shift in Toledo and the finish came out cleaner than the fresh ones, so has anyone else tried running the cheap stuff until it actually screams?

Hell yeah, I ran a chipped one till it screamed on some 304 and it outlasted the box of new ones.
