Pro tip: I got a $30 Udemy course on Python basics and it was totally worth it

I mean, I tried just watching free videos for a while, but I kept getting stuck. The course had a clear plan and projects, like making a number guessing game, that actually made things click. Has anyone else found a good cheap course that helped them get past the beginner hump?

Check out the free Python course on freeCodeCamp. Their structure is solid and it forces you to code along, which helps stuff stick.

Wait, does that course also include a module on how to stop getting distracted and actually finish it? Because I've started their Python thing like three times and my progress bar is a monument to my own failure.

Oh man, my buddy did the same thing as @anthonynelson. He finally finished by setting a timer for just 20 minutes a day.
