TIL my first real refactor saved me 30 minutes of scrolling
I spent like 6 weeks building this little script for organizing my service call notes. Yesterday I went back and cleaned up the loops into functions and honestly, looking at the before and after just made me smile. Did anyone else not realize how much cleaner code feels until you actually see it work smoother?

Oh come on man, it's a script for organizing notes. 30 minutes of scrolling saved is nice but six weeks for that? Seems like a lot.

Funny you mention that. I had a similar moment last week with my car playlist. I had like 800 songs in one big list. Took forever to find anything. Spent a Sunday afternoon sorting it into folders by mood and decade. Now I can jump straight to 80s punk or late night driving stuff in like two taps. Feels almost as good as clean code, honestly.
