Just dropped $40 on a metal milk frother and it's a total game changer
I always thought my cheap electric one was fine, but this thing makes cafe-level foam in under a minute. Anyone have tips for getting perfect microfoam for latte art?

Honestly, what kind of milk are you using? I found that whole milk gets way silkier than the low-fat stuff. Tbh, getting the angle right when you're steaming it makes a huge difference too.

Yeah, the angle thing is so real. My buddy was always complaining about his foam being too thin, and he swore it was his machine. Turns out he was holding the pitcher totally straight. Once he tilted it just a bit to get that whirlpool going, it was like night and day. He said it finally clicked after watching a video where they talked about that exact tip.

Yeah I read somewhere that the fat content is key for texture. It helps the milk hold onto the air bubbles better when you steam it. So whole milk just gives you that thicker foam.
