The Tuesday in April when my grinder finally died mid rush
Had a Tuesday back in April where my old burr grinder quit on me right as the morning line hit 14 people deep at the shop. I ended up hand cranking small batches for two hours and honestly some of the cups turned out better than the machine ever did. It got me thinking about how my first setup was a $30 blade grinder and a stovetop pot in my little kitchen in Dayton, and how I kind of miss that simple routine. Does anyone here still keep a hand grinder around just for the slower mornings?
