Am I the only one who noticed the big shift in UFO reporting after 2017?

Before 2017 it was all grainy footage and people getting laughed off TV. Then the NYT dropped that story about the Navy pilots and it flipped overnight. Now even the Pentagon admits they have videos they can't explain. What changed? I think it was the pressure from inside the government itself. Someone wanted this out in the open. Has anyone else seen the old 2006 interviews versus the new ones? The difference is night and day.

The 2017 shift was definitely a coordinated drop, not some organic change. Someone with clearance wanted those videos out, and the NYT was the vehicle. Those old 2006 interviews were all about debunking and ridicule, now it's a straight-faced Pentagon press briefing. The tone switch is too clean to be an accident. Something got forced into the open by people inside the system.

Wait, hold on - you're saying the Pentagon actually had secret briefings about this stuff before 2017 and nobody caught it? That's wild to me, I always figured the whole thing started with those grainy FLIR videos we all saw online.
