I thought the birds were drones until my brother showed me one flying backward in a storm
For about 8 months I was all in on the bird drone thing, watched every clip I could find and argued with people online almost daily. Then my brother, who does wildlife rehab in Tucson, sat me down with footage from a storm last March where a hawk flew backward into the wind to hold its position over a field. I felt dumb, but a real bird's wings flex and stall in ways no quadcopter can fake, and once he pointed out the feather gaps flexing mid flap I couldn't unsee it. Now I want to know, has anyone here switched sides on a conspiracy once someone close to you showed you actual raw footage?
