That story about the fence line through the building is a total nightmare. It's the exact kind of thing that makes crews hate new tech. I've seen the opposite happen on a few sites. A crew I know in Colorado Springs spent more time fixing drone mapping errors than they saved. The data showed a fence line going right through a building because of a software glitch. Sometimes the old way with a transit and stakes is just more reliable.
