Bought a $9 stud finder off a guy at a flea market who swore it was "calibrated by NASA." It was not. But he also told me to always mark twice with a pencil instead of a pen, and that one actually stuck with me.
Still have that stupid thing in a drawer somewhere. Worst $9 I ever spent.
