Watching a crew frame a house in my neighborhood this week made me realize how much faster they go with those cordless nail guns now.
I mean, they framed the whole first floor in like two days, which would have taken a week with hoses and compressors, and the foreman said the battery tech just got good enough to run them all shift without stopping.

My buddy's crew switched to cordless last year and he said they finish a day's work by lunch now, just from not fighting hoses.

Actually, those cordless nail guns have been good for a full shift for a few years now. The real time save is from not having to drag hoses and trip over cords all day. That setup and untangling kills a lot of time.

But what about the guys doing big framing jobs with sheathing? I've heard the cordless guns can struggle with constant high volume and start to lag. Is that still a thing, or have the newer batteries really fixed that?
