Saw that stat in a trade mag at the salon last Tuesday and it stuck with me all day while I was doing a color correction. My mentor in Tulsa has been behind the chair 22 years, so I asked her what kept her going, and she said it was never the hair, it was the little stuff like a client's grandkid remembering her name. What's the one thing that keeps you coming back on the days when your hands hurt and the tips are slow?
