Was watching a training video and realized I've been doing hair extensions backwards for 3 years

Saw this clip from a Babe hair class last night where they showed you should always tape the wefts at a 45 degree angle not straight across. I've been placing them flat this whole time and wondered why my clients had that annoying bump. Anyone else ever have a YouTube video just wreck their whole technique?

The 45 degree angle trick fixed that lumpy look for me too, I switched last year and my installs are way smoother now.

Did that fix the weird saggy spots near the edges for you too?
