PSA: Tried a new tagline setup on a 200-ton crawler and it nearly tipped
We were lifting a big concrete panel in Houston, and I extended the boom an extra 10 feet past the chart because the load felt light. The whole rig started to lean before I could even swing. Learned you can't trust your gut over the load chart, ever. Anyone else had a close call from eyeballing a lift?

Whew, that's a scary moment. It's not just about trusting your gut over the chart, it's that the chart is the only thing that knows the machine's real limits.

Yeah, "trust your gut over the load chart" is a scary lesson to learn the hard way.
