Man, saying the load barely moved sounds like a win to me, not a problem. After 6 years off, a tandem where nothing shifts or swings is exactly what you want, since those lifts are all about control and keeping the load level between two cranes. If you were expecting it to fly, that's a sign you were running it right and playing it safe, which beats the other way every time.
