My brother told me to stop using the same password everywhere, I ignored him for years

He's a network admin and kept saying it was a huge risk, but I figured my accounts weren't important enough to hack. Then last year, my old Yahoo email got popped in a data breach and someone used that password to get into my Amazon account. They bought $300 worth of gift cards before I caught it. I had to change like 40 passwords after that. Now I use a password manager, but I still feel dumb for not listening sooner. Has anyone else had a 'told you so' moment like this with basic security advice?

Forgot to set up two-factor on an old account, even though my tech-savvy friend nagged me about it for months. Someone got in and locked me out for a week, which was a huge hassle. Do you use 2FA on everything now, or just your most important accounts?

Ever think about how much easier a password manager makes that whole mess?

That two-factor thing is a lifesaver. I set it up on my main email and bank stuff after a scare, but honestly I should add it to more. It's annoying for like five seconds, then you forget about it until it actually stops someone. What's the oldest account you've gone back and secured?
