Skipping sleep got my account breached. Don't be like me.

Was up late for days. Clicked a bad link without thinking. Now I make sure to rest before handling sensitive stuff.

Okay but "up late for days" causing this feels like a stretch. You probably would have clicked that link anyway if it looked real enough. Being tired doesn't turn you into a total security novice out of nowhere.

Ever pulled an all-nighter and then just did something dumb? Honestly, I was so tired once I almost fell for a text about a "package delivery fee" because I was expecting a box. Tbh my brain just went "yep that tracks" and I nearly tapped it before I caught myself. Being that worn out doesn't make you clueless, but it totally turns off your little voice that says "wait, check this first.

Gotta disagree a bit here, sleep messes with your head more than we admit. @elliotl31 might downplay it, but fatigue strips away your usual caution. You stop double-checking links or questioning weird messages. It's like your mental guardrails just vanish. I've seen it happen where a tired friend clicked on a phishing email they'd normally spot. Lack of rest makes you open to mistakes you'd avoid when alert.

Yeah, Elliot has a point but I see it like @nina422 said, your guard just drops. It’s not about being clueless, it’s that tiredness makes you skip the small, careful steps. I’ve seen it happen with simple stuff like signing forms without reading them first.
