That barista who called out my order accuracy stats
I was grabbing coffee at a shop in Denver last week and the barista handed me a printed receipt showing my last 12 orders were 92% correct on modifications. She said she noticed my loyalty card data and wanted to know why I always tweak the syrup pumps. Has anyone else had a business share your own personal stats back at you like that?

Ugh, I get that feeling! It happened to me at a local diner chain a couple years back. The waitress flagged how often I swap out the ranch for their house vinaigrette on salads. She showed me a printout of my last 8 orders and said "you always switch the dressing." Felt like being called out in math class for a mistake on a test. @josephbailey, you nailed it with the half impressed half creeped out thing. I ended up just laughing it off and told her the vinaigrette just works better on my stomach. Honestly, I started paying cash for small orders after that and only use the loyalty card for bigger stuff. It's a little weird but hey, maybe they're just trying to be helpful in their own awkward way.

92% correct? So they're running a full audit on your syrup preferences and handing you a scorecard? That's wild they dug through 12 orders just to call you out on the pumps. I'd be half impressed and half wondering what else they're tracking on that loyalty card.

Read somewhere that Starbucks tracks EVERYTHING on those cards, not just syrup pumps. They supposedly know how often you stop by, what time of day, even if you sit in the parking lot too long. 92% is wild for something as minor as syrup, but yeah, I'd be a little creeped out too.
