My uncle shared a post claiming a mix of apple cider vinegar and lemon juice kills cancer cells, and it had 40,000 shares. I had two choices: embarrass him in front of the whole family in Kalamazoo or let it slide. I quietly sent him the actual study from Memorial Sloan Kettering that tested it in petri dishes, not humans. Now he's mad at me for 'making him look dumb' and I'm wondering if I should have just kept my mouth shut.

That part about him being mad you made him look dumb really hits home, my aunt did the exact same thing to me after I sent her a link about that celery juice nonsense. She posted some rant about how I "ruined her happy place" and then didn't talk to me for a month, but you know what, she stopped sharing the fake stuff. You did the right thing by sending it private instead of blasting him at the table, that would've been way worse.
