Paid $180 for a phone repair kit and it ended up making things worse
Back in 2022 I bought one of those all in one kits to fix my cracked screen because the shop wanted $250, figured I'd save a bit. The suction cup broke on day one and I scratched the frame trying to pry the glass off, so I still had to take it to a repair place in Austin anyway. Has anyone else gone the DIY route and just ended up paying double in the end?
