inShoutout to the $400 Milwaukee cordless ratchet I bought last month
That price tag is wild, @laura486. It really puts into perspective how expensive some tools have gotten. My old craftsman ratchet from years ago is still kicking, and it cost a fraction of that. Hard to justify spending that much when a basic one does the job.

inPSA: My local hardware store rearranged the lumber section and it's a mess now.
Tell me about it, they did the same thing at my place last month. You just get used to where everything is and then they flip the whole store around. It turns a quick trip into a whole frustrating treasure hunt, doesn't it? I'm trying to adopt that strategy of asking for help right away like amyh12 said. Wandering the aisles alone when you're pressed for time is the absolute worst.

inWhy does nobody talk about cheap drawer slide jigs being a total waste?
Honestly had the same issue and just swapped it for a different brand. Works way better now.

inMy book club made me pick between finishing a 900 page novel or watching the movie first
What if the whole point is to get caught? Maybe showing up unprepared and getting roasted by a Karen from Tempe is the real entertainment. It's way more fun than actually reading some boring book. At least you get a story out of it, like your friend Mark and his weird desk moment. That's a better memory than just talking about themes for an hour.

inMy neighbor showed me a video of his dead dad giving a speech and asked if it was real
That's heartbreaking, man. Just brutal.
