That whole 'NASA faked the moon landing' video going around with the flag waving is the same debunked clip from 2013

I spent 30 minutes yesterday pulling up the actual Apollo 11 footage from NASA's own archives to show how the flag's movement matches a vacuum environment exactly, and the viral clip literally cuts out the astronaut twisting the pole, so has anyone else noticed how these old hoaxes keep resurfacing with zero new evidence?

The flag was actually on a telescoping rod though.

OH MAN, I did the SAME thing a few months back with my nephew who was convinced by some YouTube video. I ended up finding a side-by-side comparison that shows the exact same flag behavior from Apollo 17 in slow motion with a metal rod twist. The viral clip conveniently cuts right when you'd see the astronaut's hand. I even pulled up NASA's original 16mm film reels they digitized showing the pole tipping and the ripple effect matches how vibrations travel in a vacuum. It's exhausting how these things never die.

Worth getting that worked up over a 12 year old video?
