The trending piece claimed cases were exploding, but their own source chart shows most are in one county with low vaccination rates. That county stat is the whole story honestly. I live near a similar area in Ohio where one district has like 80% vaccine refusal and every outbreak gets blamed on the whole region. You actually took the time to pull the raw data and that last two month dip you found is the kind of detail these articles never show. It's frustrating when they could just say "localized issue" but instead make it sound like a nationwide emergency. Good on you for checking the source instead of just sharing the headline.
