That '5G causes migraines' article from last Tuesday is still floating around my town's Facebook page
My aunt shared it in our local group at 6am, and by noon it had 300 shares, but the source was a chiropractor's blog with zero citations. I checked the FCC's own public safety page and they debunked this exact claim back in 2021, yet people keep tagging me in the comments like I'm the fact-check police. Has anyone else watched a bad viral piece just sit there because nobody in the group wants to start a fight?

...and that's exactly what happened to my friend Carol over in Oakdale. Her neighborhood page had this video claiming 5G towers were killing birds, and it got over a thousand shares in two days. She actually took the time to call the county health department, got a statement from them saying there was zero evidence for it, and posted it right in the thread. The person who started it just said "well, I read it somewhere" and then deleted their post, but not before about fifty people had already commented agreeing with the whole bird thing. The kicker is, two weeks later the same article popped up again in a different group, and Carol just gave up and let it sit there. She told me sometimes you can't win a fight nobody wants to have, so you just let the crazy have its day.
