That 'miracle' water filter article lost me at the lab test photo
Tried following a viral piece about a $30 filter that supposedly cleaned river water to tap standards. The photo showed a lab beaker clearly labeled 'distilled water,' not the river sample they claimed. Anyone else catch these stock photo slip-ups in science claims?
Caught that too. Same thing happened with my last water test. Pure show, no proof. They zoomed in on the glass, made it look all science-y, but never gave a real close-up of the strips. Makes you wonder what they're hiding. If the results were good, why not show the actual color change? Easy to fake a pretty beaker. I need to see the damn strips or it's just theater.
