A viral clip said my city's tap water had lead in it, so I pulled my own test report
That video got 2 million views claiming the water in Tulsa was unsafe, and a bunch of my neighbors started buying bottled water, so I dug up the actual consumer report from the city and matched it against the clip's numbers. Turns out they were quoting a sample from one old building on the north side, not the whole system, and my own kitchen test came back clean. Where do you all go to check local claims like this before you share them?
The clip quoting one old building like it's the whole city is classic rage bait. City water reports are public and easy to find if people bother looking. Check the source first, share second.
