Believed a fake hurricane photo for years until I checked the metadata
That dramatic shot of a shark swimming down a flooded Houston street during Harvey was everywhere in 2017, and I passed it along without thinking. Last week I ran it through a reverse image search and found the original was from a 2011 hurricane in North Carolina, totally different shark. Has anyone else caught themselves sharing something that felt real because the timing just lined up?
