Rant: I stopped trusting "best time to post" charts and tracked my own 43 posts instead
Every blog says post at 9am Tuesday. I run a small woodworking page and tested that for two months with zero change in reach. So I logged the actual hour and day for my last 43 posts in a plain notebook, and Saturday around 7pm beat Tuesday morning by almost triple the comments. Turns out my audience is guys in garages after the kids go to bed, not office workers on lunch. If anyone has done a real log like this for a niche page, what did your numbers say?
guys in garages after the kids go to bed" is the most accurate audience description I've ever read lol. Meanwhile every blog out there is still screaming at us to post at 9am like we're all running a LinkedIn page for accountants. Half those charts are probably written by people who never touched a table saw in their life.
